I asked my question above because i am interested in hearing people's experiences in different games about how much they cleared out their fields. Perhaps the card should say: "In the Field phase of each Harvest, if you remove the last planted good from 1 or more fields, you receive 1 Food." Since it is only a free minor it shouldn't be paying out more than 5 Food in a game. |
Yea, i like the card. It's just very hard to balance. One game i spread out all my planted resources with Irrigation Canal and my fields were emptying all the time. Another time, i removed my whole farm at once with Harvest Feast. There are many combos where this could be big. Is that a problem? In the Field phase of each Harvest, if you remove the last planted good from 1 field, you receive 1 Food. If you remove the last planted good from 2 fields planted with different goods, you receive 2 Food. Would this also work with card fields? What about unusual sown goods, like wood or food? |

And yes, this should work with minor improvements that count as fields, and with all kinds of goods, of couse grain and vegetables, but also food, wood, clay, reed, stone; and I think there's no way (yet) to get animals planted, but it should work too. |
I'd sacrifice the eventual degenerate combo for the elegance of simpler text. IMHO, most of the cards end up with really convoluted and unnecesarily complex text.
