The wording is a bit awkward, but the idea is that you'd need room for the "parent" animals, but not for any animals you acquire in breeding. The nursery can hold an unlimited number of animals (of all sorts), but you can only put animals on it through breeding, and animals on it can't be taken off, eaten, or used for breeding themselves.

The cost, bonus point and prerequisites are all pretty arbitrary.

On the card, you should write the animals can not be moved off the card. Because in Agricola people are used to moving animals around.

This card provides space for breeding. You may place newborn animals of any type on the Animal Nursery. Animals on Animal Nursery may not be bred, moved off this card, or converted into food, but are counted at the end of the game.

Is this better?

Nice idea

I think the prerequisite is pretty steep. Maybe lower it to 1 field? zlorfik

Done. I'd rather start a card strong and weaken it after testing. tacticus

agreed. is a plowed field the most natural fit though? How about "One Stable?" that's probably more in keeping with theme, and you can build room + stable, take X sheep keeping 2, then breed away into the nursery? (its a little 'extra space' in the stable etc. I don't think you really need to note on the card that 'the stable is still a stable' but it would be helpful in the comments. glengarry

Feel like it has to note that you can't say "pay for cattle market" with a sheep on here. which is i assume your intention. Or *do* sheep on here count for spindle, Milk Stool etc? I'd start by tightening it up thusly:

This card provides space for breeding. You may place newborn animals of any type on Animal Nursery. They may not be bred, used to pay costs, converted into food or moved, but do score at the end of the game.

probably a pretty great card, even without the VP attached IMO.

A little shorter text:

This card provides space for breeding. You may place newborn animals of any type on the Animal Nursery. They cannot be used for any purpose or moved from Animal Nursery, but are counted at the end of the game.

This implies that you cannot breed them, use to pay costs, use for loom/ox team etc. As the text is right now, I am not clarified if they count as prerequisites.
