Put 4 stacks of resources on this card: 4 Wood, 3 Clay, 2 Stone, 1 Grain and 1 Vegetable In the field phase of every harvest you can buy these stacks. Pay 1/3/5/7 food for the 1./2./3./4. stack you buy [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

I dont see anyone making the last buy but you get a choice during the game which is nice. |
On this card, it doesnt really matter where you put those stacks. So the corner stuff is not needed.Aug 23, 2010 11:22am [quote] |

Agreed with zlorfik. I like that the 4th stack will very seldom be purchased. | Aug 23, 2010 11:24am [quote] |

- i thought it might make the card clearer - i like it more for imagination reasons (import stuff from different locations) - i see it as a concept for a card type |
I know the corner thing is not really needed here. ButAug 25, 2010 4:38pm [quote] |

it is better than any existing ratio and early veggie needs to be more expensive, too. I think 1v will be good enough. |
the grain + veggie pile seems to be too good, if I only buy that pile.Aug 25, 2010 4:52pm [quote] |

the possible second veggie from it is delayed for another stage. it also does nothing else. |

I don't think the grain/veggie is too good. It's not immediate (you have to wait for harvest), it costs an extra food, and it makes any other options from this card cost more. Compared with Grocer, I think this card is nicely balanced. | Aug 25, 2010 6:32pm [quote] |

B) Grocer is a strong card and it's no shame to be partially weaker than it. (of course, should not be strictly weaker) Actually, to get the first veggie from Grocer, it is 4f = s r g v, this card is 4f = 4w g v, quite comparable. C) I thought the designing spirit of this kind of card is to give you options, therefore should avoid a relatively better pile. Namely, prevent a "must buy" pile. reading the current text, you can buy multiple piles in one harvest, right? so there is not much delay. |
