When you play this card, you immediately receive 2 reed. Once per round, you can place a person without taking the action immediately. Instead, take the action after any of your other turns that work phase, or pay 3 food as penalty. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

I never particularly liked this card personally, is it worth keeping this effect? (Uwe's wording substitutes paying 3 food instead of begging but that isn't possible since players don't always have 3 food so this needs to be changed at least) We could replace with g6 Basket Weaver. |
This is now a reed-giving occ in AG3.May 5, 2016 6:36pm [quote] |

I agree the '3 food' is problematic. |
This card's effect is interesting. I never played it because it was too weak. But now I'll play it. The Reed makes it real good, and then I can use the effect once or twice during the game.May 5, 2016 8:20pm [quote] |

Can you use the footman to take illegal actions? For instance, take fg without having a room for the newborn, hoping to later in the round build a room, and then trigger the fg? | May 5, 2016 8:26pm [quote] |

Yes, that is the purpose of the card. You can do all sorts of weird and unexpected stuff. It's fun to play and think of weird stuff to do. However, it is too weak if that is all it does. |
