Cost=1F, Vps=0, Prereq=1 Pasture Immediately place 2 food from the general supply on every junction point between 4 of your unused farmyard spaces (maximum 12 food). You receive the food when the surrounding 4 spaces are used. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

I think we should just swap this out. Replace with g5 Bakery which is pwr 1.9 and has a vote score of 9. |
This seems like an extremly complicated way to get food.May 5, 2016 8:58pm [quote] |

This card is in deck B. Decks A, B, C, D are meant to be Uwe created cards while decks P, Q, R, S are meant to be fan made cards. I'm not sure if we can put a G5 card into deck B. | May 6, 2016 1:12am [quote] |

I like this card. I've used it once or twice before the change. Leave it in and see how it plays at least. 2f per intersection is obviously way better.May 6, 2016 4:42am [quote] (Edit: May 6, 2016 4:43am) |

I don't think it needed the upgrade, it was about as valuable as the Raspberries before give or take a food. | May 6, 2016 5:29am [quote] |

You can quote stats at me all you want, the functionality is nearly identical, the food payout makes up for the loss of the point. Yes, the Raspberries is stronger, but not that much stronger. | May 7, 2016 7:00pm [quote] |

The card is very complicated so many players don't play it. I didn't even understand how it worked in the past. (the "maximum 5 food" was always confusing since the picture showed it paying out 6 food almost every time) I always assumed i was misunderstanding the card so I never played it. I'm probably not the only one. The wording should be simplified, no matter what we do with the strength. Jusy say "Mark 4 adjacent unused spaces on your farm. You receive x food when all 4 spaces are used." Then the card will be played for sure. |
I do think the pwr is higher than 0.0May 8, 2016 4:35pm [quote] |

The card reads like a test question from the final exam in Agricola 301. (Hint: The answer is "B - Do not draft.") |
The old version was bad. 2 starting rooms + 2 (prerequisite!) fields means you won't be getting 6 food unless you are doing shenanigans. You had to prioritize fields above all other building, pay an early food, then fully fill your farm for the benefit of 5 late food. Jun 14, 2016 12:09am [quote] |

(I naturally assumed that "every juncture point" implied that there was more than 1 juncture point between 4 spaces but now I think that's incorrect) |
Ok, this card really needs reworded. I played this in a 3er and Lady in Waiting insisted that it was "...between EVERY 4 of your unused farm spaces..." which is not how I thought it was played. (The third player had no idea how to play it). I think LiW is correct but I had never considered that interpretation before.Jun 21, 2016 2:14am [quote] (Edit: Jun 21, 2016 2:39am) |
