Under [Use More Decks], there is a new checkbox labeled "-17". When this box is checked, it removes 17 cards from NL, FL, and WA (if those decks are included in your game) which are either too strong, too annoying to your opponents, or poorly implemented online.

To propose a new NL FL WA card to be added to this removal list, or if you disagree with any of the cards already on the list, post a new thread in [this forum board].

Below are the current cards that get removed (and [click here] for images):

NL-Deck
 Backyard: Too Strong and Annoying
 Caravan: Too Strong and Annoying
Grain Sheaves: Too Strong (banned Dec 21, 2012)
 Grand Pensionary: Annoying
 Homo Ludens: Poorly Implemented
Ice Skate Sharpener: Too Strong and Annoying
 Investor: Very Strong and Annoying
 Left Liberal: Too Strong
Match Maker: Very Strong and Annoying
 Mink Breeder: Annoying
 School Master: Annoying
 Spittoon: Annoying
 Year of Disaster: Annoying

FL-Deck
 Accountant: Too strong
 Chaplain: Very Strong and Annoying
Towhead: Very Strong, Annoying, and Poorly Implemented
 Virtuous Hero: Annoying

WA-Deck
 Begging Letter: Poorly Implemented

Grain Sheaves has been added to the "-17" ban list. Play test data has shown it is too strong:

auto didact please
Here is Autodidact's stats:
Autodidact - 1.19 - Plays (26 / 27 = 96.3%) - Wins (9 / 26 = 34.6%) - PWR = 4.8 [6.2,3.4] [7.0,2.6]

Here are all the NL cards:
http://play-agricola.com/forums/index.php?topic=3437.msg33068#msg33068

There are many NL cards stronger than Autodidact.

How can there be "many" cards stronger than the top card in all decks?

WA saxophone please.

In a game today, I used it to cut someone out of a valuable renovation spot in R14. It was not a power game, but a multideck game. The ability to place multiple family members one right after the other without warning is something that has the potential for a very annoying combination. Think of crown prince, but blocking multiple valuable spaces simultaneously.

I don't think it's too strong, only too annoying.
