I've updated the "-8" checkbox (on Jan 25 2012).

Now when you check the "-8" checkbox, you prevent 9 EGIKWm CzOPiZ cards from being dealt out:
(because they are either, Too Strong, Too Annoying to your opponents, or Poorly Implemented online)

E occ, Ratcatcher: Annoying
G occ, Late Sleeper (banned Apr 21, 2011): Too strong
I minor, Wooden Hut Extension (banned in 4-ERs Sept 17, 2010): Very strong and Annoying
I occ, Taster: Too strong and Annoying
I occ, Chamberlain (not banned anymore Jan 25, 2012)
K minor, Broom (not banned anymore Jan 1, 2010)
K minor, Reedhut (banned Sept 18, 2009): Too Strong
K occ, Lover: Too strong
K occ, Wetnurse: Too strong
Z occ, Mail Coach Driver (banned Sept 18, 2009): Annoying
O minor, Guest Worker (banned Sept 18, 2009): Too Strong

Note: Z minor Maypole, Z occ Herald, and Cz Seeress are always prevented whether "-8" is checked or not: Poorly Implemented

====================================================

I changed the function of the "t" checkbox to the right of decks E I K.  Selecting "t" does not set the decks to 'EIK-6 crds' anymore.  Selecting "t" only activates "-6 crds".  (And if you leave all the 6 decks unchecked you will get 'E-6 crds' by default)

After selecting "t", you must then choose what decks to play with (which can be E I K, but doesn't has to).  The new function allows a player to use just the I deck with any cards on the "-6 cards" list removed or EIKOZ-6 crds, etc.

We are also revoting on what cards are included in the "-6 crds" since we have added decks Z and O.  People may want a Z or O deck card to be on the "-6" list, or they may want to change the current "-6" list.

Go HERE to nominate or vote on cards to be included in the new removal cards "t"-list.

This is the thread linked to by clicking -8 crds from the game lobby, but it's fairly unclear on exactly which cards are being banned.  Wooden Hut (Extension)?

Thanks i changed "added" to "banned", and "removed" to "not banned" to the list above.  That was certainly causing confusion as the words are basically opposites.

WHE is now banned in 4-ERs.  So the if playing a 4-ER the "t" switch is "-9crds" but for 1,2,3,5-ERs it is "-8crds"

We should start a new vote if you think it should be removed. The old vote here:
http://play-agricola.com/forums/index.php?topic=640.0
is tied at 11-11

Chamberlain has been unbanned starting Jan 25, 2012 based on the vote from this thread:

...

note: Z minor Maypole and Z occ Herald are always prevented.

...

Just to understand it...
These two cards are not banned because of their strength, but because of their functionality not usable for online play?
Am i right??

Yes, you are right. Maypole hardly works online.

IRL, the couple of Maypole games I've played have been the most intense games of Agricola I've ever played.

Yes, you are right. Maypole hardly works online.

What we need is for someone to write a maypole simulator--
The faster you move your mouse, the more the maypole wobbles!
